Looking ahead, Tomàs is composing solo, and chamber works for performances across Italy, France, and the US, and is also composing an ambitious opera commissioned by the Gran Teatre del Liceu, slated for the 2026–27 season in Barcelona.

Beyond the concert stage, Tomàs’s versatility extends to film, theater, and new media. His original scores appear in projects such as Vintage (Spain), Danger in the Spotlight (USA), Muoi: The Curse Returns (Vietnam), and A Heavy Burden (New York Times). He has also contributed as an orchestrator to major productions, including Berlin (Netflix), The Burial (Amazon MGM), Minions (Universal), Watership Down (BBC-Netflix), and Chef’s Table (Netflix), among many others.

Tomàs’ formal training began with piano studies at the Sant Cugat Conservatory and composition at ESMUC in Barcelona. He further honed his craft at the Sibelius Academy in Finland, earning advanced credentials before pursuing a Master of Music in Film Scoring at NYU and a Ph.D. in Composition at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. He has shared his expertise through teaching at institutions including UCLA, Pepperdine University-Malibu, NYU, and Universidad Loyola de Sevilla.
